So, living according to God's principles is irrelevant to God? Hmm, I wonder i f I could find a explicitly clear verse, or two, or scores, to refute that, NT or OT or both?

I fully get the need for Christ, but is he your Lord if you live in complete violation to his commandments? Is living righteously irrelevant, even to the extreme ends, to eternal life? Are there not warnings in scripture to Christian believers to not fall into the practice of grievous sins? Hmmm...

[1Co 6:9-11 KJV] 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

[Jas 2:20-26 KJV] 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent [them] out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Nothing without God's grace, true. and Jesus Christ is the way. But does the word "Grace" in the original Greek actually carry the concept of "unmerited" in it... or even favor? The root means happiness (joy is the same). God's happiness to bless others. Read more than snipped out verses. Warnings mean nothing if they don't carry potential consequences.

[1Co 9:23-27 ESV] 23 I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings. 24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. 25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. 27 But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
